Thank Goodness I’m Old

Well, in two days it will be Thanksgiving, and you know what I’m most thankful for–my age. I’m well past my sell by date and will soon be heading to the dumpster, but in this day and age that’s mot such a bad thing. Why? Because America is becoming a place where I feel a stranger in a strange land. And I’m not alone. Many of the people I talk to everyday tell me they’re glad there on their way out. Not because they want to die and leave those they love but because they can’t stand what the country is becoming.

This generations students will be the next generations leaders and that’s something that make me sick at heart. Here’s what I’m talking about.

Sometimes a subsection of society is so despised that it is asked to use separate restrooms. Long ago this was the case with blacks in the South, but also in the North though the Democrats in Chicago and New York will never admit it. Ask people like Sammy Davis Jr. and Fat’s Domino and many others.

Now it’s the case with police officers on a college campus in NYCity.

Brooklyn College is arising NYc police officers to use bathrooms on the far end of campus in order to avoid being seen by students who might be offended by their presence.

In the aftermath of 9/11, when NYC police were lionized for their work when the towers fell, who would’ve thought we would reach this point a mere 16 years later?

Brooklyn College Director of Public Safety Donald Went says he would prefer police to use the facilities in the West End Building.

The New York Post took a trip to the WEB, where officers are now encourage to use the bathroom, and found an “out of order” sign on the stall door, with a dirty and broken toilet on the inside.

A student explained why police officers should be subjected to this humiliation.

“I know students from every background and access every major. They don’t feel comfortable around cops. They just don’t. It makes safe spaces feel not so safe.”

The NYPD ought to make the posturing snowflakes happy by declaring Brooklyn College a police free zone. Then we could see how snug the snowflakes feel in their safe space when ward of the Welfare State get wind of the policy and descend upon it to rape and pillage.
